In July, The Boudreau family hosted the annual cottage party which included a Potluck, Ring Toss,
Swimming and Tubing for the children. We played Darts and went out on the Paddle Boats.
Thank you to the Boudreau family for hosting such a fantastic day!
The weekend of August 5-7 brought families of LeBlanc Taekwon-Do to Sherwood Forest
Camping Park in Coldbrook. We booked a section and had a fun-filled weekend.
In addition to roasting marshmellows and sitting around the fire, we played soccer and football.
Children were able to swim in their own pool while the adults lounged in the Adult Pool.
The height of excitement came on Saturday afternoon when we had a WATER FIGHT
that lasted 1 and 1/2 hours. We had a ring toss tournament and finally
the adults got to dance the night away at the "New Years Eve" themed Dance.
On October 16th, the students of LeBlanc Taekwon-Do participated in a Break-a-thon
fundraising event in support of the CTV Christmas Daddies. This charity provides
toys and gifts to underprivileged families at Christmas. LeBlanc Taekwon-Do raised
$4232.50 for underprivileged families. We continue to give back to the community
while helping families meet their goals of a healthy lifestyle.
We would like to recognize the following businesses that donated to the Break-a-thon:

On Saturday, September 18th, we had the pleasure of learning from the President of the ICTF.
Fall River Taekwon-Do hosted another elite seminar with Master Cariati.
Kwan Jang Nim Cariati has a way with people and teaching that we have not seen in the past.
The technical applications of fundamental movements were covered and students
and Instructors now have a better understanding of our patterns.
It was nice to see our member schools unite once again in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Thank you to my old classmates for attending
and I look forward to training with you again in the future.
It was a very busy weekend beginning with an Instructor grading.
We congratulate Mr. Bryan Blue (4th Dan), Mr. Robert Carr (6th Dan)
and Mr. Bill Stoerig (6th Dan) on successful gradings.

On Saturday, January 30th, we had the honour and privilege of welcoming Master Cariati"A PARENT'S TESTIMONIAL TO MASTER CARIATI"
to Halifax for the first invitational ICTF seminar held in Nova Scotia.
The seminar was comprised of two sessions, 11 years and under and 12 years and above.
Topics were: patterns, sparring techniques, self defence and body condition.
Master Cariati's vast experience, expertise and excellent teaching skills
revitalized the over 100 participants from both the ICTF and the CTFI/ITF.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the intense knowledge packed sessions,
gaining new insight and understanding of the techniques developed by
the founder of Ch'ang-Hon Taekwon-Do, General Choi.
We would also like to mention that Master Cariati and this event
cemented an already firm bond with the ICTF's newest members in Nova Scotia:
Mr. Carr from Carr Taekwon-Do and Mr. Blue from Blue Taekwon-Do.
The Students and Instructors are now a close knit family and eagerly look forward
to their future with the ICTF.
All belt levels and all ages have been motivated and inspired; a new standard has been set.
